I built Yoast SEO. I ran my blog on WordPress for years. Then yesterday I moved it to static HTML.
Everything that matters, SEO, search, schema, is still there. What I dropped was the overhead.
Do you actually need a CMS? For quite some sites: no.

I like the direction SC is headed in. Data is important, but actionables are much better.
Hopefully this is a first step in making GSC usable by the avg business owner, as it should be.

6 months ago, I wrote an opinion piece for the @Wix #SEO hub reconsidering the benefits of using AMP.
Starting August 1st, we will be sunsetting AMP and will 301 redirect the AMP URLs to their corresponding blog posts.
It is time to kill it with fire 🔥🔥

I was excited when @googlesearchc released regex filtering in Search Console, but I always disliked the experience of having to copy-pasta my #SEO regex every time.
Introducing enhanced regex in GSC! This Chrome extension isn't publicly available yet, should I publish it?

Landed some big improvements for INP last month, sites built on @Wix are now in much better shape for the upcoming replacement of FID.
Starting to get the hang of this new metric, more to come..
🌎 71.8% (↑ 13.7%) had good INP globally
🇺🇸 90.8% (↑ 6.3%) had good INP in the US

I think Google expanded the "People Also Ask" SERP feature to more languages and geos. Seeing this for the first time in Hebrew.
Has any #SEO noticed this in other geos and languages lately?
