How would the IDF disarm Hamas? Throughout the war the policy was to evacuate civilians to areas run by Hamas, meaning Hamas was always cemented in power by controlling civilians. To disarm them you’d need to separate them from the civilians. I’ve never heard one person explain how the IDF intends to do that? Or is “disarming” just mean razing more areas of Gaza City and the Central Camps to make them look like Beit Hanoun (which is what officials said would happen to Gaza city.)? Razing cities and blowing up high-rises doesn’t seem like “disarming” and Hamas immediately re-emerged after two years of fighting so it’s not clear all the bombing actually disarmed them. I’ve never heard an explanation of how “disarmament” would be accomplished. How to separate civilians from Hamas and give them a chance at a normal life. If someone has a theory that isn’t just “more bombing” or “expel them to Egypt” I’d be interested to hear it.

Last night there was another attempted arrest of a yeshiva student in Be’er Sheva. Officers entered the house and conducted a search, but the young man was not home. They do not enter the Haredi cities.

It should be noted that three years ago, it was reported that the personal information of 30,000 former and current Air Force service members was leaked and published on the darknet by the "Leak the Analyst" hacker group.

The Military Police last night arrested Dvir Shlomo Ben Shimon, a student at the Or HaChaim yeshiva, at his home in Adam. According to the family’s account, the Military Police arrived in large numbers and even blocked several streets around his house to prevent access.

Master Sergeant Tal Haimi, commander of the Nir Yitzhak emergency response team, was killed while defending the kibbutz on the morning of October 7. His body was taken by the Hamas terrorist organization. Tal Haimi was 41 years old at the time of his death, which was officially confirmed on December 13, 2023. He is survived by his wife, four children, his father, and his sister.

I really think that more of an effort needs to be made to put some of the footage from October 7th out there. For the general public to consume. A lot of it is already out there, but not all of it. And I say this because when you see this footage… it’s not something that you easily forget. I think it took me about a week to fully get over it. To process it. To emotionally deal with it. Because when you watch these videos, and when you see these pictures, this is not a Hollywood production. This is not some graphic film from the latest Blockbuster. This is real. You’re watching people be massacred and tortured and assaulted and raped right in front of you. When you watch this, it takes a piece of your soul away. Something in you dies and you never get it back. But when I see what’s happening across the world right now, with the rise of antisemitism and the hatred of the Jewish people… I think that’s something that needs to be seen. I really do. And it breaks my heart that it’s come to that. Because I think large portions of humanity have lost their way. And they need to find their way back.
