There have been several reports of dead swans and other water birds on the Grand Union Canal in Ealing, the latest near Norwood Green . The cause is under investigation. The advice is, if you spot a dead bird, do not touch it but report it to DEFRA gov.uk/guidance/report-dead-…

The E2 driver at Ealing Broadway told us there was a (car?) accident on #Northfields Avenue which was closed, diverting the bus route to go a 65 route. I hope all is OK and nobody's hurt?

I think Takaa Tak at 54 #Northfields Ave #Ealing is my new favourite place for Indian ( Indian Chinese as they describe themselves). Beautiful interesting food, but also, they serve the elusive Palak Patta Chaat of my spinach related dreams! 👌

One of the best things about Hanwell is the ability to walk for miles and miles without crossing a road (although you walk under a couple) - all the way to Brentford High Street in the south almost all the way to the A40 in the north. Thanks to the @BrentRiverPark.

This morning, on busy Northfields Ave (the gates of Lammas Park) a driver lost control of his car, mounted the pavement, ploughing into a resident's garden.
An absolute miracle no one was killed.
Campaigners have been warning Ealing Council for years how dangerous that road is.

So the story goes, #Ealing council are responsible for the #North side of #bostonmanor tube station, and #Hounslow the south side platform. Guess which has pigeon nets, and which doesn't? 🐦🐦💩💩...its all over the platform...always🤢🤮. @EalingCouncil can you fix this?

Sports grounds are v important but we can’t destroy crucial rare habitats to create them. There’s no room for this sort of “compromise”, as @_petermason @EalingCouncil puts it. We are one of the most nature depleted-countries in the world, in the midst of an environmental crisis.

We're devastated that last night an outdoor storage unit was broken into and our cargo bike was stolen.
We've reported it to the police but if anyone sees it please let us know, and please share this. We're a charitable organisation and the bike was incredibly useful for us.
