Please read this. There are a lot of people spouting absolute bull crap. Give thing time to come out during the trial, and don’t fall for rage bait.
Testimony is getting underway in the Karmelo Anthony case this morning. Just want to remind everyone if you see any tweets purporting to show photos or videos of the courtroom, they are fake. There is no photography allowed in the courtroom. Some of the media have hired a sketch artist because there is no photography allowed. I've seen some influencer accounts using AI to make images they are trying to pass off as real. There is a lot of misinformation going on surrounding this case. Please get your information from a legitimate news source. Below: example of fake courtroom photos. ⬇️

Read this. He's right.
This all seems to be a ploy to link IP addresses and online activity directly to an identifiable person to make them easier to catch and track down. The government falsely assumed that everyone watches porn and they thought they would get everyone that way. It obviously did not work as well as they were hoping so they are now expanding it. (I have always said that initial laws are just a foot in the door, those laws will always be expanding after the fact into their true original intended purpose). So their plan now is if you want to use any social media or much of the internet in any way, you will need to prove that you are over 18 which means submitting an ID. This will require far far more ID submissions which will massively expand the government database, which was the real plan all along, not the safety of children. The funniest thing about this is after all the fuss about the Online Safety Act, this blanket ban on kids using social media pretty much renders the entire act pointless and made it a giant waste of time. Which to be honest, proves that the act was never about protecting children but was really about building a giant database that links all online activity directly to a person. This database would then be constantly poured over by AI to flag "citizens of concern" to the government who may be potential political dissidents, saying naughty anti-government things etc so the government can pre-emptively act against them. Minority Report. This is literally the plot of Minority Report.

James Harden was arrested for not having a holster. Legally owned gun. Legal to have it in his vehicle. No victim. Just a holster check at 4am. I fought to remove this exact language because it would be used to criminalize law-abiding Texans over a technicality that has nothing to do with public safety. They kept it anyway. Now a man with no criminal record is facing a Class A misdemeanor & bond conditions that strip him of his 2A rights while the case plays out. All because of where his gun was sitting. Told. You. So. @TXGunRights will fight.

Today, I’m releasing never before seen intelligence revealing new evidence of past US government funding for more than 120 biolabs in over 30 countries, including Ukraine. In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI will continue working with partners across the Administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what “research” is being conducted. odni.gov/index.php/newsroom/…

Actually this is the result of having the pipelines into the pond shut off for 8 weeks and it all getting flushed into the pond once the circulation system was turned on. This was all anticipated and planned for. The “scum” will be swept up now and the new recirculation system should keep it clean once all the gunk from the pipes is removed.
This is not residual algae. This is not sabotage. This is not sea monkeys. This is not going away. This is the result of incompetence and creating a heat sink in a shallow non chlorinated pool.

Dear People Visiting the U.S. for the World Cup: Much ado has been made about Freddy from Germany and other visitors from Europe, Asia and elsewhere delighting in quintessential American chain dining establishments such as Buc-ees and Texas Roadhouse. Please allow me to make ten other American chain dining recommendations: 1. Go to Krispy Kreme and get a dozen Original Glazed donuts when the neon “HOT” sign is turned on in the window. 2. Go to Jersey Mike’s and order a #2 for an authentic Jersey Shore experience (“Tramps like us, baby we were born to run”), or get a #17 for an authentic South Philly experience ("Yo, Adrian!”). 3. Go to Chick-fil-A and get an Original Chicken Sandwich with Waffle Fries and a lemonade. (Don’t go on Sunday, they are closed so everybody can go to Church.) 4. Go to the Cheesecake Factory and order whatever you want, it’s the biggest menu you will ever see anywhere. They have everything. I’m not exaggerating, the menu is SOOO many pages. And get a slice of cheesecake—it’s the most decadent cheesecake imaginable, and all the many flavors are great. 5. Olive Garden. It’s not real Italian food, it’s some Americanized version of quasi-Italian food. Go for the endless breadsticks and salad. 6. Taco Bell. Order the Crunchwrap Supreme. Best at 1 a.m. while drunk. (Don’t drink and drive though—American police frown on that.) 7. Chain burger joints are contentious even here in America. Some are mostly regional: Shake Shack, Smash Burger, In-n-Out Burger, Five Guys (those are all great). Probably the best chain burger you can find everywhere in the USA is Wendy’s. Try the Pretzel Baconator with fries and a Coke. 8. Go to Dairy Queen and order a Blizzard. (It’s a dessert, get whatever flavor strikes your fancy. It’s a lot of calories.) 9. Breakfast? McDonald’s. Yeah I know you probably have McDonald’s back in your home country but there is something about a McDonald’s drive thru off an interstate highway that is quintessentially American. Egg McMuffin, hash browns and a coffee (tell them if you want cream and/or sugar, they will add it for you). 10. Buffalo Wild Wings. All the games will be on the many televisions. Get the bone-in wings with the Original Buffalo Sauce. I’m pretty sure you’ll get a lot of recommendations from other folks on this post. Thanks for enjoying our country. We love that you love it. Safe travels, CP

For many Europeans visiting the U.S., seeing the iconic yellow school buses for the first time feels like stepping into a movie scene. Something so familiar from American culture suddenly becomes real right in front of them. It’s interesting how everyday things can become exciting discoveries when viewed from another perspective. A simple school bus represents a piece of daily life, history, and tradition that many people have only seen on screens. Travel allows us to appreciate the little details we often overlook. Who would have thought a yellow bus could become one of the most memorable parts of someone’s trip?

.@tuuu28283 I’ll be cheering for Japan this afternoon.
For many Japanese visitors arriving in Dallas for the World Cup, the experience is about much more than the match. They are exploring the city, celebrating with fans, and discovering new flavors like American barbecue for the first time. It’s amazing how sports can open the door to new cultures. A meal, a neighborhood, or a simple walk through a new city can create memories that last far beyond the final whistle. The excitement of international fans reminds us that travel is about connection and discovery. Who would have thought a soccer tournament could bring people together through food, friendship, and shared experiences?

USA. A breakfast counter. The waitress recommended the biscuits and gravy, and when the plate arrived, I thought something had gone wrong in the kitchen. I say this with shame. The dish looked like a construction site after rain. Pale mounds. Gray ladle-fall. Speckles I could not identify. In my land, the eye eats first. A meal is arranged like a garden. This meal was arranged like weather. "Is it… finished?" I asked, carefully. "Honey, that's what it looks like." The man beside me was already eating his. He did not look up. "Just try it." I am a man who has charged hillsides at dawn. I raised the fork. I tried it. I must now formally apologize to the biscuits, the gravy, the waitress, the kitchen, and the entire breakfast tradition of the American South. It was magnificent. Warm. Peppered. The biscuit drank the gravy the way a field drinks rain — THAT is why it is shaped like that, you fool — and every mound I had insulted was a soft fold of comfort that my homeland, in eight hundred years, never once thought to invent. "Well?" the waitress asked. "I judged it," I confessed. "By its appearance. I am ashamed." "Everybody does, hon." Everybody does. A national dish that forgives you for doubting it. It expects the doubt. It waits for you on the other side of it. Do not judge the gravy by its face. Judge yourself, for hesitating. I order it every Saturday now. I no longer see the construction site. I see only the garden. It was a garden the whole time. The eye must be trained.

Interesting turn of events. I wonder what made him decide the father was “Weak” and “Not willing to die, kill or go to jail”?
Charleston White admits, after a fallout with Karmelo Anthony’s father, that he had been paid off to support Karmelo Anthony’s case and that he would rather support Jeff Metcalf. “I’m sending the money back.”
