the worst thing you can do to yourself in the fgc is surround yourself ONLY with people who value being good at a fighting game VERY VERY VERY highly. especially when they arent doing it professionally and are forcing their insecurities and ego onto you. dont do this to yourself

Out at joint 13th, lost the mirror match to @sin_nl7. It was unfortunate but I was a bit too predictable with the choices I was making so it was hard to get started. But we learn for next time.

Managed to get Top 64 but got knocked out straight after.
It is what it is, Iโm having a blast in Lyon, very beautiful city and when the game keeps improving I will definitely play more and properly.

The rank system in this season is so inflated which gives people a false sense of improvement and it's really unfortunate. I don't even play this game as much anymore and when I do it's mostly quick matches. I really hope they keep up with the nerfs to both rank and characters.

Itโs a shame that thereโs so much going on behind the scenes, including in the FGC to the point of you questioning yourself if you can trust certain people or not. Unfortunately, thereโs no real solution to this. If unaware, you can only get along and then you find out in the end

It's okay to admit to yourself you were carried by your character/heat. More people need to come to terms with that, and change mindsets to improve.
I was def carried by the things that were nerfed on Lars. I will see less wins, but will become a better player in the long run.
