At the age of 24, I was diagnosed with a Bilateral Pulmonary Embolism and was hospitalized at Inova Alexandria Hospital. I wasnāt in medical school then, and had no idea what it meant. I just knew I didnāt want to die. This thread is about the the value of #AMEC2023

Getting my block schedule makes this whole residency thing feel real. Like im really gonna be at the VA and in med-peds clinic. Iām really gonna be in the NICU for Christmas. I have a real job as a doctor in 3 hospitals. Thatās crazy
