@NickPollman & I had the opportunity to do our tiny bit thanks to @srini091 who's been working relentlessly to distribute food/care packages to migrant workers on their long journey back home. Head over to his IG/ Twitter page to contribute or be inspired instagram.com/p/CAkhJ-ZJ7em/…

Sharing here the great work that my colleagues and I created inspired by @TanELLclassroom Each student who took the WIDA test got an individualised profile tailored to their language needs which was sent to all teachers. @amykburchett @AISChennai @sarahsahr

Learned about interactive learning objectives & finally got around to trying it out in class. Kids loved the puzzle and they cheered each other on - an attempt to involve Ss & get them to pay attention to what they will learn! @AISChennai

Gratitude circle: Ss choose a photo on their phones to share a thing/person/experience that they are grateful for. A quick inclusion activity that helps us pause and practice gratitude @AISChennai

Every student gets only 2 tickets per class which pushes the Ss who share/answer a lot to use their voice wisely allowing everyone a chance to speak. A clear spike in classroom energy & quality of engagement FTW! @AISChennai
