Standing up against antisemitism comes w/ social costs on social media, in academia, & in many progressive spaces. Many Dems have, I believe, conflated this w/ "political cost." I don't think there's a 1-1, here. In fact, I think it flows the other direction: costly to be silent.

Their idea of organizing is waiting until other people create the organizing infrastructure and do the hard work to set things up, and then swooping in and co-opting it.
