You can position someone in a leadership role but that doesn't make them a leader just makes them a puppet with a fancy title. Still dancing for those dollars girls and its disheartening when the "leader" of an anti exploitation org doesn't even realize they are being exploited.

In a stakeholder interview with a Capt on the WPD he asked a group of students "“What are you going to do with all this information, I’d be careful what you do with this information.”
Does that help people understand an additional layer of why Survivors are fearful to report?

The irony isn't lost on me that it is incredibly easy for institutions and those with power to tell the truth with minimal risk for fallout yet it is those who have experienced so violence and have experienced so much harm when we speak out that actually do.
The reality is that prostituted people EVERYWHERE experience this. It is the norm not the exception and it needs to change. #Listen2Survivors#ChangingSystems
