Mandal is the executioner. This subaltern Hindutva has been in place since the inception of RSS.
The plan was to create a class of hindus who only care about theatrics - the GC. Once that Brainwashing was complete, it created a class that was only interested in freebies - the reserved castes.
To both in existence together and win elections - bjp gives policies to sc st obc and speeches to GC.
Both communities get what they want.
But reservation by its design is a zero sum game. You cant give sc st obc anything without first taking it from GC. Therefore, you need GC traitors in IT cell to continuously gaslight GC into only focussing on the musalmaan. The GC must never look at the extreme APARTHEID and the silent Genocide that is being conducted on the ground.
Thus the formation of IT cell - includes chatukars, media and movies. A 5000 crore industry operating 24x7 trying to make the GC focus on the musalmaan. There is no other objective of this group (off late one objective was added was to attack GC activists because some of us realized their strategy)
Mandal did nothing new. Only executed the perfected RSS strategy.
People think I am being sarcastic here, but I am not.
I judge intellectuals on two things: persuasion and influence.
The simplest form of narrative building is taking the audience’s preconceived notions and building a story around them. It’s easy to go to a conference filled with Hindutva supporters and ‘prove’ why Yogi is the best performing CM in India today. The Bhiku Mhatres and the Galgotiyas of the world can be deployed for these tasks.
The superior form of narrative building is coming up with a different idea and persuading the audience to change their minds. You convince people that your interests align with theirs, and they change their minds because they see the benefit in doing so. This requires a different kind of skill, especially when the audience is averse to change. You already have my respect if you can do this.
As far as influence goes, it’s simple. I don’t care how many retweets your propaganda gets. Do your ideas create real world change through govt policy or capital allocation? If not for you, would there be a significant difference in govt policy or fund allocation?
Dilip Mandal is someone who, in my view, has managed to adapt Hindutva ideology to its new base while persuading the old base that this shift serves their interests. He has also significantly influenced the way the govt shapes policy in a manner that few other Hindutva intellectuals have.
He's the ModiJi of Hindutva intellectuals.
