The Chicken Orb gives chickens the freedom to forage outside of the chickenyard and in the garden without fear of getting eaten. You pop a chicken in the Orb, secure the orb gate, escort the chicken to a suitable foraging area, and away they go. The chicken moves the orb in its desired direction, foraging bugs and foliage. When foraging time is up, simply escort them back to the enclosure and release back into the coop.
Community note
The official Chicken Orb site does not recommend that the chicken orb be used to protect chickens from predators. It's only designed to allow pet chickens to roam a garden area, while restricting some of its behaviours. chickenorb.com/pages/faqs

Pass the popcorn!🍿 In 2020, scientists velcro'd 3D glasses to European common cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis) and set up a 3D theatre to study how they percieve depth perception. I know this is very cool research but I can't get over how goofy they look like this.

What's the best figure in a scientific paper? This one is pretty great: "the cosmic background radiation of the universe superimposed on the symbol of infinity", used to represent the space of possible proteins

This has what can only be described as one of the greatest figures in the history of science: "the cosmic background radiation of the universe superimposed on the symbol of infinity"
