It’s funny because I talk alot of shit in my head when cutting someone off. In a good way but with her. I never want it to get to that point or as always. If we ever do stop being friends. I wouldn’t want it to be my fault lol. Usually people hand me the scissors to cut them off and that’s not a joke thing.

I won’t lie..I’m definitely attracted to her physically. But what really gets my attention is everything beneath the surface with her. After this past weekend, I realized I need to spend more time creating experiences and memories that I’ll actually remember. Shoutout to myself for stepping out of my comfort zone and doing it solo. I went, had a great time, and made memories I’ll always have. Proud of myself for that.

I wish platonic relationships were valued more. I’m tired of watching friendships fade the moment someone starts dating. And every time I talk about it, someone says, “Don’t worry, you’ll find someone someday.” That’s not the point. I shouldn’t need a romantic partner to feel loved, prioritized, or important. Maybe the problem isn’t that people are single. Maybe it’s that we’ve built a culture that expects one person to fulfill every emotional need while friendships get pushed to the sidelines. Love shouldn’t only count when it’s romantic.
