Since peanuts are shaped like chromosomes, here is a mitotic peanut cake. If we wait long enough there will be two cakes :)

A thread on our recent paper with Vitelli and @squishycell1 labs. It’s got biology, physics, machine learning… a little something for everyone! It all started with a simple question: Can we predict traction forces directly from images of proteins? arxiv.org/abs/2303.00176

As 2022 is coming to an end, I want to look back on some great memories I have from being PICLS social/scientific manager in the past year. Working along side this fantastic committee was the best and most fun time I’ve had in my PhD so far. Good luck to the new PICLS in 2023!
