Many years ago, the #MedicalScientist in my life was on call over Christmas. I was 7 months pregnant, and so was worried when he left the house in the middle of the night (both for his safety and also for the safety of the patient who he was being called into work to help) 1..

Over 400 MLSA delegates vote by a large majority at the MLSA AGM in favour of a motion calling on the Executive Committee to ballot members for industrial action in pursuit of pay parity with scientific colleagues. MLSA Exec will meet next week to consider next step.
