Kick in the American market all share basically the same viewership. You watch everyone playing each other’s clips or watching each other’s streams. It’s like Groundhog Day on repeat unfortunately. Small streamers will never get front page. They are forced to bot just so they aren’t on the last page. To become a streamer now you’re basically screwed by the game itself. Nobody believes anyone’s viewership. Moderation is non existent on the lower level of kick.

Solution for streamers botting: -nerfed from discovery -can’t earn from ads That’s it. And before somebody says “what if someone bots attacks you”. You can ask the team to cap your views, we already do this. My tweet yesterday was a bit unfair to the folks at twitch. We aren’t in a position to shit on them for talking about doing something. But I know from experience the limitations they face and that their solution is purely optics. We’ve been part of the problem for so long and now we want to be part of the solution as we imminently roll out algo and ads. Because bots cost us tens of millions a year and because we know how much it hurts small to medium streamers, we have the incentives to fix this.
