๐Ÿ“ขApplication to Sandie Peggie Tribunal Accepted We are absolutely thrilled to announce that our application pursuant Rule 36, prepared by our legal lesbian @cleancitybird, in the case of Sandie Peggie v NHS Fife & Dr Upton has been formally accepted by the Employment Tribunal, with no objections from either party. We were compelled to intervene in this case, due to the mischaracterisation and prejudicial use of same-sex attraction, particularly that of a young lesbian, @nicoleepeggiee, who's sexuality was used in a way to paint her own mother in a prejudicial manner. Thank you to everyone for your belief in us, your support. We could not continue without your support. We are so proud to advocate for lesbians, gays and bisexuals in Ireland and globally. We are disgusted by the anti-lesbian video posted by the doctor/entrepreneur Helen Webberley. One of the reasons we formed LGB Alliance was that the entire concept of sexual orientation was being erased by the โ€œLGBTQโ€ sector. Lesbians in particular were - are - suffering from abuse for their same-sex attraction. Nancy Kelley, then CEO of Stonewall, referred to lesbians as โ€œsexual racistsโ€. The Supreme Court understood what homosexuality means. In its ruling of 16 April 2025 it clarified the point that lesbians are biological women who are attracted to other biological women. Of course, there are still heterosexual men who claim to be โ€œlesbiansโ€ - egged on and applauded not just by the LGBTQ sector but by major human rights organizations, from Amnesty to the UN. Our progress against this malign trend is slow. The brave young women Serena Worley and @MaeveHalligan dared to stand up for lesbian rights at the Cambridge Union. They spoke passionately - and they spoke the truth. Their superb speeches rattled the homophobic doctor Webberley, whose income is threatened by this truth. She posted an utterly vile attack on these young women, calling them โ€œselfishโ€ for standing up for the right to exclude men from lesbian dating apps. The people she calls โ€œtransgender womenโ€ are heterosexual men. We do not have โ€œgender self-IDโ€ in the UK. They are men and they do not belong in lesbian spaces. Helen Webberley exemplifies todayโ€™s trendy - and often lucrative - homophobia. We reject her abusive attack and everything she stands for.

We are extremely disturbed by the news that President Catherine Connolly has been named as a patron of Irish NGO Belong To - an organisation that receives huge tax funding, and has been instrumental in the push for mixed-sex bathrooms in Irish schools, curriculums that teach gender ideology as fact and ask students to sign pledge packs to subscribe to preferred pronoun usage, teaching teachers to hide and lie to parents about their childrenโ€™s sexuality or gender identity, etc. This organisation was once set up as a gay youth group, but as many of our members and founders experienced, it was not a place for LGB youth to find friends or find community, but rather an youth group that taught young and vulnerable lesbians or bisexual girls how to hide breast binders from parents, silenced questions, encouraged disparaging speak about โ€œc1sโ€ people and created a culture of secrecy and fear. We met with the Childrenโ€™s Ombudsman to raise our concerns as lesbians, gays and bisexuals who had direct and indirect experience of Belong To, and these concerns were never investigated. It is wholly inappropriate for @PresidentIRL to actively endorse such a controversial NGO, that has and continues to actively harm lesbian, gay and bisexual youth, particularly while she is the president.

Very glad to have spoken with @Niall_Boylan on todayโ€™s show about my objection to the commodification and exploitation of womenโ€™s reproductive labour and of children inherent in Irelands surrogacy legislation. The @NotAllGays position on surrogacy, and our work in this field can be read here: notallgays.org/surrogacy-gayโ€ฆ

The event selling babies to Irish men in @ClaytonHotels this week has been cancelled. They are citing security concerns, Iโ€™d say it was more likely they didnโ€™t want to face questions from the Irish women who were planning to attend to report on their human trafficking

Correction: This was a Hatch Fertility event, who are attending the Men Having Babies 3 day expo in Berlin from tomorrow.
California based surrogacy agency, Men Having Babies, that specifically targets gay men was due to host a session named โ€œBabies & Bitesโ€ in London tonight, which we intended to attend to ask some questions. Given the clear laws in the UK surrounding commercial #surrogacy, we wrote a letter to the venue highlighting the possible legal implications and objecting to the clear weaponisation of gay men to advertise $250,000 surrogacy arrangements. The event has now thankfully been cancelled by the venue. Read our letter below (images or thread):

By hosting this event, London Marriott Hotel County Hall exposes itself to: ย - Credible allegations of facilitating unlawful advertising of commercial surrogacy; ย - Complaints to regulators, local authorities, and statutory bodies; ย - Escalation to Marriott Internationalโ€™s legal and compliance functions; ย - Reputational harm arising from association with highโ€‘value reproductive commerce marketed under the banner of gay rights. We therefore ask that the hotel urgently: 1.ย  Review this event against the Surrogacy Arrangements Act 1985; 2.ย  Confirm that it will not host or facilitate events promoting commercial surrogacy arrangements, particularly sixโ€‘figure commercial packages, to a UK audience; and 3.ย  Take steps to ensure that similar events are not accepted in future. In the absence of satisfactory assurance, we reserve the right to pursue this matter through regulatory, corporate, and public channels. This correspondence is sent in the public interest and in defence of both the rule of law and the integrity of gay rights advocacy. Yours sincerely, Not All Gaysโ€ 2/2.

Thank you to @WombsNotForRent for joining us in sending this letter to the venue raising the legal concerns of the blatant advertisement of for-profit surrogacy contracts that are illegal in the UK.

Statement from LGB International welcoming Botswana's repeal of anti-homosexuality laws. We are delighted to congratulate the people of Botswana now that the law criminalising homosexuality has been removed. We agree with Botswana's Attorney General, Dick Bayford, that "criminalising consensual same-sex activity violated constitutional rights to dignity, liberty, privacy and equality." This formalises the law in line with the 2019 High Court ruling. We call on other sub-Saharan African political leaders to follow Botswana's example. They should not drive up anti-gay sentiment to distract from their failings and hold onto power. Frederick Schminke, Chair of LGB International said: "Adults of the same sex must be free to love one another everywhere without being criminalised. Laws that punish homosexuality should be left in the colonial era." citizen.co.za/news/botswana-โ€ฆ

Today we join our lesbian friends around the world to celebrate #LesbianVisibilityDay. Our sexuality is not a choice, not a costume, not a set of stereotypes - just women who are exclusively attracted to other women. Thank you to @Vaishax and @limesodafilms for putting together this video.

โ€œWe canโ€™t buy a child when they are born so why are we doing it before they are born?" @cleancitybird We were pleased to convene a roundtable in the @HouseofCommons yesterday examining surrogacy through a women- and child-centred lens and launching our #latest report by @WombsNotForRent and @hartleythinking. Thank you to our excellent speakers: Lexi @lexington1920, Laoishe @laoisedebrun @TheCountessIE, Annaรฏg @NotAllGays and Gary @GaryJPowell. Their opening contributions set the stage for an in-depth and timely discussion, centred on the rights of women and children. Too often, the rights of women and children are absent from conversations on surrogacy, which is why this cross-party roundtable was both timely and necessary. We were delighted to also be joined by @SurrogConcern, @FamEdTrust and @acadofideas. Special thanks to @SarahForRuncorn for hosting. We look forward to the next in our series of #WomensPolicyCentre roundtables, addressing fundamental issues affecting women and children in the UK today. ๐Ÿ”ท #TheMissingPiece
