Today I started my #UKCountryVisit meeting the Minister for Equalities having 9 briefing sessions on key areas. In the next 2 weeks, I will meet govt & civil society reps in London, Cardiff, Edinburgh, Belfast & Manchester to assess the situation of #LGBT people in the Kingdom.
This is a government entirely invested now in vilifying trans people’s lives for political gain, aided by a biased media. As our local elections gear up for the 4th and beyond that, we still have the opportunity to show them just how wrong they are for this

Despite a few hitches it was a good turnout to raise awareness of the disappointing advice from the #EHRC regard changes to the equalities act that would negatively affect trans people and ultimately cause issues and harassment for Cis people too #TransRights
