here's my personal top 25 video games these are ranked based on important they are to me so a game being low or high doesn't mean I think it's better it just has more value to me on an emotional level

Or could it be because the gif makes it seem like they’re taking it less seriously than they should? /nm

Actually parents alone can solve this by using something called parental controls on the wifi to block their kids from connecting to soical media sites.
Kids should not spend hours on their phones every day, exposed to self-harm content, pornography, violence, and extremist or hateful material. Yet that is the reality today. Parents alone cannot solve this, so governments should enforce age limits. Let kids be kids.

And if you your kid has a mobile data plan you can also use parental controls to block them from soical media as well.

And if your kids on a device for too long you can take it off them and make them go outside or play with toys

As if a game being open world means it can't have engaging combat here's a list of open world shooters with more fun combat then RDR2 -Just cause 3&4 -MGSV -cyberpunk 2077 -Far cry
It’s almost like it’s a rockstar open world game
23
-the fact that on PC you have to go through Rockstars shitty DRM -the fact that the DLSS version hasn't been updated -the multiple visual bugs that happen when using vulkan -the repetitive combat
Tell me one BAD thing about this game.

Nope it's banned by the new laws too but you people keep calling it the pedo app but everything people bring is just as prevalent as on twitter/X in fact twitter has a feature called communities that has been used to sell CSAM so yeah if Bluesky is a pedo app so is twitter/X
BlueSky is now officially Britain's State-endorsed Paedo app. It's going to get very weird over there with just leftists and kids. Very fucking weird.

Yknow the French had a good solution for when The ruling class got it into their heads to fuck about with everyone else for basically fun. The Russians too.

I support the idea of stopping the genocide in the Gaza strip committed by Israel, i can call it a genocide as it is a official deemed that by The UN (ohchr.org/en/press-releases/…) however if I responeded to the question asked with a yes i could be put at risk of being arrested

"If children were sat around drinking and smoking for 4-5 hours a day" most teens are in drinking and smoking, like most of the people i know go out drinking and smoking weed every week.

If you're outraged at the UK Government's ban on social media for under 16s, then you clearly do not care that we have lost an entire generation to this. If children were sat around drinking and smoking for 4-5 hours a day, the nation would rise against it, regardless of what they felt about individual parental responsibility. We need to protect our children as a society. That is what the most successful societies have always done.

“Giving children their childhood back?” So reopening the 2,000 youth clubs closed under neoliberalism? The 1,000 children’s centres? Recreating the 10,000 playing fields lost? Or the 800 playgrounds lost in the last 10 years? The 1,000 libraries? The after-school clubs closed?
We are banning social media access for under 16s. These days kids must find their feet in a world where technology intrudes into every area of their life. I just can’t let that go on anymore. So we’re giving children their childhoods back.

The UK Government's 'careful review' of the research found a small correlation between children's use of social media and wellbeing, but no evidence of a causal effect: gov.uk/government/pub… assets.publishing.service.gov.uk/media/696e0b46…

That fact that fully grown adults that think that the student is being 100% serious really is funny
BBC: “What was your screen time?” Student: “Nine hours.” BBC: “You’re gong to have a lot more time to fill. What will you do?” Student: “Stare at a wall.”

'the social media ban is well-intentioned' ???
Whilst the social media ban is well-intentioned, it’s unlikely to work given the mass adoption of VPNs. It will also mean the introduction of Digital ID via the back door. The real answer here is handsets for children with limited features.

Things you can do at 16 in the UK: • Join the Army • Consent to medical treatment • Leave home • Ride a moped • Work full-time • Become a parent • Fly an aircraft solo You cannot go on Facebook All of this because people don't know what perantal control is...
I am simply not prepared to be a bystander when the safety and happiness of our children are at stake. We will ban social media access for under 16s, and give children their childhoods back. Read more about it here: keirstarmer.substack.com/p/g…

The platforms, like Apple iOS/iPadOS/macOS, Android, Google Chrome and Microsoft Windows have parental controls that give parents the tools needed to restrict or block underage children access to social media. support.apple.com/en-us/105121 families.google/familylink/ support.microsoft.com/en-us/family-s… Banning will just encourage VPN usage

How about zero? Meta’s strategy for ever growing state mandated privacy invasion is to try to shove the surveillance obligations off on Apple and Google. How about sticking up for citizens’ rights instead?

Don’t actually understand why the under 16 social media ban is angering people either. YouTube I get I guess.. But my kids (8 & 9 yr old) have Xbox’s, iPhones, TVs etc but they all have the parental control, which includes time limits and control of apps etc

Another thing about the soical media ban is that people from 13 to 17 will probably start to develop creative skills and when they make something their proud of they will want to share it online, soical media is the easiest way to do that ( )

Their creative skills it's very hard to get a chance to show off your work to people who have enough understanding of the process to give you above surface level feedback. And when it comes to a portfolio it won't just be filled with your best work it will activity show your ( )

Progression as a creative, without soical media it's gonna be hard for younger people to develop creative skills.
