I managed to spend $2k on anthropic api credits before they shutdown Fable. It is the first time I’ve felt the subagent orchestration was *kinda* worth the token cost. I used the </supercode> dynamic workflows w/ Fable to run “tournaments” of 10-20 ideas for the same app. One prompt would create several versions of the app in parallel and they all worked e2e. The products were still sloppy and would require weeks of polish to be anything worth launching. For me the ability to test multiple iterations like that was unbelievable (ya Dario n gang one shotted me)

Fable one shot: “God Wink” the iOS widget that shows you bible verses based on your daily life. A script on my mac pulls notes from past few days, runs prompt through Gemma (local llm) and comes up with 12 bible verses that relate to what I’m doing that day. A generative journal flow writes back to the obsidian vault to go into the next turn.

The fable/mythos model one-shotted this note app overnight (for $200 in credits) Thought it was cool until I noticed that lifetime access for the real thing was only $59 I am the yield. Incredible tech.

"AI meeting notes" is prob the most clearly useful AI task outside of coding. Granola has an amazing UX but - got their hands all over your private data - subscription lock-in for a feature i felt like I could vibecode in a week - no private/local support for nerds like me who bought expensive silicon luckily while doomscrolling github I found Anarlog. I open sourced my “headless ads manager” for Meta/IG Ads I used to spend painstaking hours inside the Meta’s cursed UI. Now I can manage campaigns from yapping to clankers. Wrt to software: it is the best time to be a user, the worst time to be a founder

this week I spent 30 hrs back in Meta ads manager Shopify for @ondastu. The UX of these dino monopolies is torturous. I locked in and after a lot of hacking around and yelling at clankers i got the sdks and clis hooked up to my coding agents. One of the most impactful time savers i've experienced so far with ai. Side note - meta (who pitches that they're ai-native at every opportunity) is ironically so painfully difficult to connect to an agent. (Even with their own shitty ai models)
