At SpaceCon in San Antonio this weekend, I got an autograph from Olivier Richters. You may know him from Black Widow and Reacher, and in the upcoming Street Fighter movie he's playing Zangief. And I'm telling you... he IS Zangief. I didn't fully appreciate it until I saw him in person, but this guy is absolutely enormous. He's 7'2" tall, making him the second tallest person I've ever met. (Only Peter Mayhew edges him out at 7'3".) He stood up and just kept going... and going... Then there are the shoulders. I swear they're over a yard wide. The muscles are unreal. The beard is on point. I couldn't help myself. During the signing I told him, "You were born to play Zangief." Seriously, look at this guy. This photo is him standing next to John Cena, who is definitely not a small man at 6'1". And Richters makes Cena look average. The man is a mountain. What a casting choice. They somehow found someone built exactly like a video game fighter.

I was at Spacecon. Unfortunately it’s true, he could have went to the game late. Thats what I did

So there’s a story behind this photo. And it’s how Hayden fucked over his fans to get the photo. Hayden Christiansen was in San Antonio not for the game, he was already scheduled to be at SpaceCon in the same facility as the game. AND Hayden somehow has a clause no other guests have—for him to do a panel at a con he wants more money so they make it a paid, ticketed event. NEVER on 25 years of con going have I seen people pay to attend panels (which are usually pretty sucky). People paid *$100* per ticket to see Hayden with Ian McDermid and Jimmy Smith (both of whom would have done the panel for free…but not Hayden). Well the panel was scheduled for 8:15pm LONG before Spurs and Knicks were in the playoffs. Why so late? SpaceCon made sure every guest AND vendor was out of the building before letting the paid people in. Well with the game they moved the time from 8:15 to 8. Panel starts. People say it went well. Then TWENTY MINUTES IN Hayden gets up and leaves saying he wants to go to the basketball game. So a room full of people who paid $100 to see “the chosen one” talk were left with McDermid and Smits, both of whom have great careers but attendees say the entire energy left the room with Hayden. The unmatched greed and ego shown by Christiansen for this photo op is really a sign of unwarranted entitlement and a way to shit on fans (not me!) who paid $100 ON TOP OF A CON BADGE just to hear him talk.

The Goldfinger song is so funny in terms of the expectations it sets for the character. You’d think he’s hot fuck action to rival even Bond, at least his physical match as well, and then it’s this guy.

I REALLY think SOME people (not naming names) were at last night's game for clout on insta posts... "Look how important I am! Look how rich I am! I'm at this game and you're not!" They don't give a shit about the game, they care about the views and likes.......
