Once my wife planned a 12 hour drive on a day when the USMNT was playing. I made the entire family sit in a pub in Dallas for two hours to watch the match in the middle of the drive. Then the next World Cup, a group I was in planned a 12 hour drive to Chicago on the day of THE FINAL! I made the entire group sit in a living room of an acquaintance for two hours only 100 miles into the drive to watch the match. What is it with people? 🤦♂️

And I know what you are going to say. “If you don’t like it, keep scrolling!” The thing is, I like YOU. So when you post something and I get a notification of it, I go to see what YOU posted. And when it is just ANOTHER photo of your dog in its doggy bed (or more likely YOUR bed) or a shot of your cat looking at you with contempt, it is SO BORING. Every dog and every cat does that. Your pets are not special.

He was an influence so constant, I do not remember a world without a ubiquitous Chuck Norris.
