I wish high school kids could see some of the 5 o clock hitters on college teams that rarely play or don’t play at all. If you don’t know what a 5 o clock hitter is, it’s a guy that destroys balls in batting practice, but doesn’t hit well in the games. It’s the same thing as guys that throw 95 mph in a bullpen and is completely ineffective in game setting. Thats why coaches are not impressed when you try to pull everything and try to hit tanks in bp with no objective. He’s got a bench full of guys that can do that.
