AL are rarely purely technical. Itโs complex interplay between multiple risk factors (patient, oncology, timing, nutrition, learning curve), tissue perfusion; tension and the microbiome. We need to move away from blaming surgeons for this problem and change the narrative

Neck dissection for three stage or transhiatal is difficult. Great to practise this on the cadaver. This is one of the best articles to learn this approach safely.
