This letter really hurts today as I find out my position has been cut due to The Mather's budget reductions. "This also demonstrates how it feels to go bold in service of something greater than our reservations about disrupting the status quo." #bpscuts2021

You may see signs like this outside some @BostonSchools. We want to remind everyone in the @CityOfBoston to please keep our students safe. If you see something unsafe, like discarded sharps or hazardous materials, please call @BOS311. @BSACbuzz @BostonParksDept @HealthyBoston

There wouldn’t even be a bill to discuss, without @SoniaChangDiaz. Representation matters. The children of our Commonwealth deserve better. #mapoli

Decision making tables must be diverse because who is at the table determines not only what is served, but who gets to eat. Why isn’t @SoniaChangDiaz at this table? She is the co-author of the #FBRC & #PROMISEAct and has been a champion of eliminating opportunity gaps for years!!

And here I thought poor people of color, who spend 64 more hours commuting, were being asked to take a back seat, yet again! But they're not. They're just being told to get in line behind the Seaport. Silly me. #FreeTheT #FreeThe28Bus #bospoli #mapoli #MBTA cc: @wutrain

A history of opposition and lack of engagement, and yet the city plows forward without any recognition of how problematic this process has been. Input into RFP is different than fake feedback sessions after blueprints have been rendered. schoolyardnews.com/a-history…

.@BCassellius @BostonSchools @marty_walsh It seems McCormack students again being denied due process. Can we pause here and truly engage with their community?
We were not engaged in the RFP process because the RFP was designed with an entity already in mind. This is process was rigged from the outset, but we are going to go down swinging. bostonherald.com/2019/10/16/…

Thread: Today my students testified at school committee about the lack of authentic community engagement around the proposed fieldhouse on McCormack land—the second backroom deal impacting our community in less than a year.
