Demolition began Monday on the old Woodson Pool in southwest Oklahoma City. We've had lots of good memories at this site, but we're making way for the new MAPS 4 youth center! Good things are ahead.

UPDATE 12/5: Crews discovered an unforeseen complication that requires rerouting ~60 feet of pipe. Because of this additional work, lane closures will remain in place longer than initially anticipated.
The work zone expanded to include two eastbound lanes of NW 23rd Street.

Because the Champions Parade is rolling through town (and many of our solid waste services personnel will be on street security and clean-up duty), regular Tuesday trash and recycling services will be delayed until Wednesday, June 25. Bulky services will not be affected.

Beginning Thursday, Feb. 15, NW 27th Street will temporarily close from Woodward Avenue to I-44 for utility maintenance and repair. The closure is anticipated to last through the end of the month, weather permitting. Detours will be marked.
