Wonderful that our Oregon State Teachers of the Year have returned to college! Our OSU panel was amazing. Thanks to Brett and Gloria for making it happen! @oregon
Denver Airport… they just cleared the runway for lightening as we sit in the plane-rocking back and forth in the wind. I am not looking forward to this takeoff.
The energy and conversation with my OSTOY family was fantastic tonight. It was inspiring to hear the work they are all doing in our state and nationally! These teachers are true “change makers”.👏🏽❤️ @NNSTOY@CCSSO@ORSTOY1@MSD549C
Hey Oregon! During this difficult time, please know your teachers have your back. All over the state we are learning how to move our classrooms online. While we do that, check out, check out these shared Story and Art lessons by Oregon teacher Brett Bigham.
Thank you Shana! People, I didn't pay Shana to say that-but I really do appreciate it!! Everyone's busy, that's why my blog always has free downloads attached to it! I like to make stuff and I have to do something with it! :0) Enjoy! #GlobalSPED@drvickip@nnstoy@ORSTOY1
What a great read and implementable for Monday morning (at all age levels!). Thanks @2014ORTOY for an excellent blog post. "Start with Art" - teachingchannel.org/tch/blog…
Come to one of the sessions or @ecet2or and learn more. National Board Certification is the most impactful professional development I have participated in and I highly recommend for any educator. #nbctstrong
Friday night...I have a ton of work to do all weekend (It takes me about six hours to prep a #GlobalSPED#LiveChat) plus an IEP to write, and a writing project to finish and if I start now, I won't have it hanging over me all weekend. But... I just want to be a slug.
I’ll B at Southern Oregon University tomorrow from 7:30am-12:00pm recruiting teachers 4my school district. I’ll possibly B talking w/teachers from Washington, Idaho, California & northern Oregon. My focus is 2answer questions for much needed bilingual teachers.🤞🏽#LCOY@2014ORTOY
If Our Children's Trust has taught us anything, it's that youth want to and can positively impact their communities. Churchill's HS's future health professionals are now soliciting partners & ideas 4 a large-scale community health project. Tweet or DM your ideas/ areas of need.
Hey @SteveWyborney !! Is there an #OregonMathChat coming up? Do you have to be in Oregon? Would, say, someone living just over the border in Idaho, or maybe someone in Vancouver, WA be allowed to chat about math?
Our school has a higher % of students who are homeless or in foster care. Our staff wilB wearing shirts that are purple becuz this color symbolizes homelessness & they hav a simple message 2show our ❤️& support 2all students no matter where they come from. #LCOY@NNSTOY@ORSTOY1
