This evening, I had the privilege of joining the organisers and partners of the Palestinian Scholarship Initiative for a meaningful iftar. This initiative will provide opportunities for Palestinian students to pursue university education in Singapore.
Singapore is committed to supporting Gaza’s urgent needs. Beyond humanitarian aid, we also provide capacity-building programmes to support the Palestinians in eventually governing their own state. At the same time, many ground-up initiatives complement the Government’s efforts.
