I guess I logged off pretty short after this post in the Sassy Thread, and I hate updating it under the circumstances. Sassy passed away on April 13, 2026, after a brief battle with bladder cancer. She was loved tremendously and I will miss her terribly for the rest of my life.

Please rest assured that in the two and a half years since I stopped updating this thread, she continued to live a life of peace, safety, happiness, and comfort. She passed snuggled up in my arms and purring in our usual spot on the couch. Thanks for loving Sassy, everyone.
