Drove to dinner on 14.3.3 and home on 14.3.4. Here are my thoughts.
- Performing flawlessly in the rain. Hasn’t missed a beat. The freeway speed is currently limited by FSD to Hurry mode because of the weather, but it’s still staying with the faster-moving traffic a hair above the speed limit.
- Navigated its way out of the parking garage without issue, and maybe even a bit more confidently than when I entered, despite the rain.
- Wipers are at the proper speed.
- It’s randomly picking up the express lane limit of 70 instead of the main freeway limit of 55 (which I’m in). Haven’t seen that behavior in a while.
- No brake stabbing, even in the rain with its weird lighting and other effects.
- Nag has been nearly non-existent, even in the rain. That is, until I went from Interstate 495 to 66. On cue, the nags lit up the second I started driving west. This started with 14.3.3. Every other freeway is good, no nag. But I-66W (not east) is always a nagfest. Traffic is half what it was on 495. I don’t get this one.
I’ll report more tomorrow as I play around more. But for now, it’s better—except for that westbound nag.
