Sunday evening ponder: In the event that Trump *is* assassinated, there are two things that can happen to the energy he’s created.
First, people can mourn and feel depressed, and opt out of action — that is a strategy that actually benefits people who want to control because you’re easily manipulated and controlled, as you’ve given up.
Second, people can get angry. But where does that anger go? A blind rage satisfies nothing, solves nothing, and builds nothing. People say civil war this and that, but they have no idea what that actually looks like. What happens when the random angry people get their heads blown off by the military? Nothing gets accomplished.
So the only solution, unfortunately — is to just keep politicking? Just keep playing the game and hope the shock of an event like a Trump assassination has enough energy to give your platform momentum?
If anyone has thought about this deeply, do share your takes.
To us it seems like if Trump is assassinated, people make a whole bunch of noise, grieve, some people will try to rebel and likely die, and then the game continues the same as it always has.
Would love to hear takes.
