i wanted a huge jewellery collection but every time i looked through different brands, i found myself staring at the prices more than the jewellery đ
the artsy part of my brain was like, âwait⌠i can make this.â
so i texted
@mehekprabhakar and asked if sheâd be interested in making jewellery together.
turns out she had been thinking about the exact same thing.
we went shopping for materials, spent hours making jewellery, and somehow ended up creating 6-7 pieces. then we started playing around with clay and making tiny cute things just because it was fun.
a few days ago, we were texting and thought, what if we hosted a workshop where people could make jewellery using beads and clay?
so we did what every overexcited person does. researched venues, pricing, registrations, materials, made a form, put up a post, and hoped for the best.
ngl, we were terrified.
what if nobody signs up?
what if people donât like it?
what if this whole thing flops?
instead, the event got sold out đ
we even had to increase the capacity because people kept asking if they could still join.
today felt so wholesome. seeing everyone sit together, make things with their hands, talk, laugh, create, and leave wearing something they made themselves was honestly the best feeling.
huge thank you to everyone who showed up, trusted two girls with a random idea, stayed till the end, and were so patient with us through everything.
what started as âletâs make jewellery for ourselvesâ somehow turned into a room full of people creating together, and thatâs kind of crazy to think about.
my heart is so full.
thank you for trusting us đ¸â¨â¤ď¸
