So far this World Cup has been a great reminder that we make too many assumptions about one another, and that the vast majority of humanity is awesome. It's been pretty damn refreshing, honestly.

History's first trillionaire is a guy who catches rockets out of the sky with chopsticks and beams internet to every dead zone on the planet. Same guy ships cars that drive themselves, humanoid robots for the factory floor, brain chips that let paralyzed people move a cursor with pure thought, and an AI running on a supercomputer his team stood up in months instead of years. And the people crashing out about his net worth are doing it on the app he owns. The same app governments spent years trying to censor. You cannot legislate a rocket into orbit.

couple of interesting insights from the drhp- 1/ zepto’s revenue has been ~5x in 2 years, top line seems to be compounding. but losses have also moved ~5x in the same period, which means every rupee of new revenue is bringing a rupee of new loss with it. 2/ cash investments dropped from 7,440 cr to 5,680 cr in one year. fy26 fcf: (4,329 cr). at this burn, this ipo isn’t a growth raise, it’s runway. 3/ ad revenue is up 33x in 2 years, with 2,468 brand partners on the platform. this is the only line that prints real margin. imo the actual bull case isn’t grocery, it’s ads.
babe wake up zepto's drhp just dropped

5/ 640 mn orders in fy26. 1.75 mn orders/day. order volume cagr fy24-fy26: 119.5%, the fastest in indian quick commerce. they’re losing money faster, but also growing faster than anyone else. 6/ dark stores: 337→ 1,139 across 66 cities. but opd/store in q4fy26 hit 2,140 vs 1,425 a year ago. they’ve stopped adding stores and started squeezing more out of existing ones. densification > expansion. 7/ median delivery time has been getting slower: 10.57 min (fy25) → 11.40 (fy26) → 12.35 (q4fy26). seems like a deliberate tradeoff, they’re choosing volume over the 10-minute promise.

8/ annual transacting users: 10.6m → 38.4m → 48.0m. yoy growth crashed from 263% to 25%. the easy users are acquired. from here, growth has to come from frequency, not new sign-ups. 9/ founders hold barely anything directly, aadit 1.07%, kaivalya 0.89%. the real promoter stake sits in lazarus trust (9.6%) vohra trust.

separate what luck controls (pmf) from what skill controls (operations), then bet only on the second. treat the operating machine itself as the product. let compounding take care of itself

banger episode
Today we hit episode 100 of The Offline Network. So we did the obvious thing. We put six founders in one room who each built something people said couldn't be done. Live at 4 PM IST on @OfflineOnAir. Here's who's on: Ronnie Screwvala, Chairperson and Co-Founder of @upGrad_edu. Pioneered cable TV in India when nobody believed in it. Built UTV. Now reshaping how professionals learn. One country, many empires, one man. Sreevathsa Prabhakar, Founder and CEO of @Servify. He built a global business out of everything the world throws away. Repairs, protection, trade-ins, now the after-sales backbone for the biggest brands on earth across 40 countries. The boring businesses are the ones that last. Abhay Singhal and Mohit Saxena, Co-Founders of @InMobi. Started in a shared apartment. Became one of India's defining tech stories. Now reaching billions of devices every month. Kanika Gupta Shori, Co-Founder and COO of Square Yards. She built one of India's largest proptech platforms while the industry looked the other way. An empire built while the world wasn't watching. Vaibhav Khandelwal, Co-Founder and CTO of @shadowfax_in. The IIT Delhi engineer who mapped every road India forgot. Millions of packages a day, across pin codes everyone else wrote off as too hard. Six founders. One milestone we are genuinely proud of. Episode 100 goes live at 4 PM IST. Catch it live, because you will not want this one on replay.

High-agency is contagious. You spend time around someone who just does things and suddenly your own list of "impossible" tasks starts looking suspiciously possible.

i think the purest form of love is just wanting someone to notice life with you. "taste this. look at that. hear this song." again and again. until you can't imagine noticing life without them.
