My opinion on this path: Very cool, poorly thought out. If you unify before Germany declares on the Netherlands, you get locked out of WW2 (unless you manually declare). Also you get locked out of some focuses if the Netherlands doesn't exist.

My tip, wait with the unification, make sure to do the focuse and employ advisors that make Netherlands complete your shared focuses more often. At best unify only after Japan declares on you to get the full experience.
