Reality check: We cannot spend as much money on defence as we need to... Because labour spent it all on free toast clubs at school breakfast time, and priority dental appointments for everyone except tax payers.

I for one would rather see Stargate cancelled than for it to be remade for the non existent modern audience. Better though would be to reinstate it and make it true to the spirit of the original, and watch the good times roll.
