nobody ever says this shit about gay people. nobody’s like “wow guys once we abolish gender gay people will have no reason to be gay in a genderless society and they can all just happily date the opposite sex” and yet, when it comes to trans people…
See this is my issue with the opinion that gender is *purely* a social construct. Yes the social aspect has a MASSIVE impact but if you reset me and locked me in a room with no outside contact I'd still look at my body and feel a disconnect to it. its not JUST social!!
