The problem is not the suspension, it’s trust.
Fable 5 was already almost impossible to use seriously in production.
We were sold a premium model, but the moment you moved beyond a simple conversation or a landing page, you ran into guardrails so broad that the workflow became unusable.
Cybersecurity, biology, chemistry, distillation, sensitive technical topics, almost anything could trigger a refusal or a redirection to another model.
So even before this suspension, the promise was already broken.
We are sold models as reliable foundations to work, code, build, and migrate entire workflows, then overnight everything can disappear because of a political, regulatory, or internal decision.
Fable 5 and Mythos 5 were supposed to represent the premium tier.
Instead, access was brutally cut, clients were blocked, and developers were once again taken hostage.
At some point, the real question is no longer “which model is the best”.
The real question is: how can we seriously build on tools this unstable when it comes to access, continuity, and trust?
It’s time to reconsider my subscription with you, @AnthropicAI .

The US government, citing national security authorities, has issued an export control directive to suspend all access to Fable 5 and Mythos 5 by any foreign national, whether inside or outside the United States, including foreign national Anthropic employees.
The net effect of this order is that we must abruptly disable Fable 5 and Mythos 5 for all our customers to ensure compliance.
Access to all other Claude models is not affected.
We apologize for this disruption to our customers. We believe this is a misunderstanding and are working to restore access as soon as possible.

1/3 Small progress update on @OmexFi and the OMY Agents 🤖
I’ve been less active here recently because I’m fully focused on v2.7. I probably have 5 or 6 days of development left at most, maybe less if everything continues to move forward smoothly.
v2.7 is the next concrete step. It is designed to fix several issues in the current version, improve what is already working, and make the system cleaner, more stable and more efficient.
As part of this update, atomic arbitrage will be removed. After properly analyzing it, it is simply not profitable enough compared to the complexity it adds to the system.
I would rather focus development on the mechanics that actually work and bring real value to the ecosystem. 🧵👇

3/3 But I still want to bring the entire collection together in one shared universe.
The goal is to build a large central community room capable of hosting all 1,212 OMYs, the total maximum supply of the collection.
This room will not simply be a place where people watch the agents. Owners will be able to enter it, move around and talk to each other, a bit like Habbo Hotel, but built around the OMY universe and @OmexFi.
All 1,212 OMYs will be able to be present together in this central room, while their real actions will continue to operate inside their individual execution environments. This allows us to keep the technical logic clean while bringing the entire collection to life in a shared social space.
I would also like to organize events there on a large screen. Launches, announcements, videos, collaborations with creators or special community moments, in the spirit of what Fortnite created with the Travis Scott event, obviously at our own scale and with our own identity.
Later on, owners will also be able to build and customize the individual rooms of their agents, with furniture, atmospheres, decoration and real room progression.
That part will require more time and probably some paid services or plans in order to be built properly. It will come progressively, once the project has more resources.
For now, the direction is clear. Finish v2.7 properly, transition OMEX to the Diamond Standard by v2.8, then develop a true social and community-driven universe around the OMY Agents.
The future will go far beyond a simple 3D interface. 🤖
