Then I remember , at some point in my life, I saved a ton of numbers I didn’t know.
Sometimes it was from business, sometimes contact gain.
I just imported everything and saved those contacts in my device.
Now I’ve evolved. I have switched jobs and career path .
I don’t even remember saving half of these people’s contact.
But here’s the issue,
I want to delete them, but I don’t know their names.
Because when you import contact files or do contact gain,
you don’t even know what name the file saved them as.
Now I don’t want people I don’t remember having access to me.
So I go to my iPhone contact list…
Boom. Another problem.
Apple doesn’t allow bulk delete.
If you want to delete 200 people, you’re going one by one.
That’s when I said, nah. This doesn’t make sense.
So I redesigned the Apple Contacts UI to fix it.
I added:
— An edit dropdown
— Filters like “Least Interacted With”, “Recently Deleted”, “Favorites”
— A Select All Bulk Delete option
— A confirmation warning before action
What do you think about this redesign and the solution I implemented? I want to hear your opinion.
