To end this season, a short summary:
The project started as "Ego Project", inspired by Blue Lock. With Viki, our goal was to guide rookies, help them grow and give new players a real chance
It later became Zerance Bloom. We joined the mercato very late and ended with this roster:
Top:
@owpiiii
Jungle:
@cluelith
Mid:
@ZerMalo09
ADC:
@SaltyViki
Support: Lorie
Four rookies and one veteran. Among competitive teams, we were the only ones taking this risk with a strong French identity and i can't be prouder
Our coaching philosophy:
1. Build stable foundations and clear game principles
2. Improve individually
3. Develop the right mindset
During the offseason, I reviewed my entire year with Vitality to learn as much as possible, structure my knowledge, create concepts, identify strengths and fix weaknesses
When the season started:
1. We build a long-term plan with clear progression goals
2. With Viki, we set up individual soloQ follow-ups to prepare champion pools and make sure every player stayed sharp
3. We launched Project Ahjin to coach players from the whole scene for one month, helping them grow while refining my methods
4. We optimized the schedule and sorted scrim opponents by category: lower Elo to learn fundamentals, equal Elo to test ourselves, higher Elo to learn from them and develop mental strength
March to May: we maintained a 50% winrate in scrims and progressed fast
First results came: Top 1 Echoes of the Rift and qualification to the Equal Esports Cup
We arrived as outsiders, with fearless rookies ready to prove themselves
For Viki, the challenge was moving from weakside player to proactive carry what she managed to do
For me, it was building strong foundations while supporting each player individually and adapting to everyone’s constraints
June and July: we climbed to 56% winrate in scrims with the same objective of improving fundamentals and individual level
We finished Top 3 in groups at EEC and Top 6 in playoffs
We lost 1-2 vs Galions for direct Game Changers qualification
We pushed top teams to their limits but lacked the final spark
Under pressure, we threw games that contradicted our principles. We lost to ourselves
At this point, Lorie had to leave for personal reasons. A new choice appeared: recruit experience or take another risk on a completely unknown rookie
One night at 11pm, while checking
@laujen_ Gdoc, the name
@yseiiii caught my eye
After tests and making sure her personality fit the group, she became our new support
A player who had never competed, never played in a team, taking a key role
Huge gamble
We started intensive 1v1 coaching, 2v2 sparrings, accelerated fundamentals, champion pool development. We had little time before Game Changers qualifiers
The team clicked instantly. We stacked wins in scrim and even beat SK Avarosa in preparation
We finished Top 2 at qualifiers of Game Changers, losing to Eterna, the future champions of 2025
Again, we lost to ourselves. And this pattern continued
In group stage, we qualified to playoffs at 1-2 after throwing a winning game
In playoffs, we lost 2-3 vs SLY after leading 2-0, Top 6
At La Faille, playing in parallel, we lost the final 2-3 vs Vitality after leading 2-1, Top 2
Strong starts, promising leads, then slipping away due to inexperience and instability in fundamentals
After La Faille, Owpi and Lilly left and both performed extremely well in their new teams
@hao_lol1 and
@Yukikko_Neko joined us. Hao had struggled with Galions but her potential was clear, especially reunited with her former Solary duo. Both contributed a lot to the end of the season
With this new French-speaking roster, we entered the Nova Series supported by Riot France
We finished Top 4 (4-2) in the first qualifier and Top 6 (5-2) in the second, not enough for playoffs
Final summary
With three roster changes and five rookies trained this year, we fought until the end
Every player improved individually
We lived victories, defeats, joy, frustration. Esport
Thank you to everyone who helped us reach this point: Zerance
@YaniSparky @sullizerance @lamine_charbon @Ilios_lol
The individual coaches who helped us behind the scene
@D1verse3,
@unkrautlol (yes, even you) and others
Our scrim partners:
@yurei_xd
Thank you to all the players. Your talent proves the scene has a bright future
Thank you Viki. We built this together. Even without the trophy, we can be proud of our journey
The scene needs support
Two years ago, the average level was around Division 4
Today, it is reaching the upper level of Division 3
There is still a long way to go, but this evolution is a victory for everyone involved
To all managers working in the shadows: @myra__davis
@marc_kwl and a lot of others
To all coaches and head coaches pushing their teams through storms and pressure:
@EmtestLoL @Balleeno @Jarge__ @Godlaiik @BurntSanctuary @Kojoker_01 @Cekean @Diane_Alienor @CoachYip @RdHausFoX @VicFangs and others that i forgot
And also to all the smaller teams and mixed teams who didn’t hesitate to join the tournaments and take their shot
Thank you
There are no great matches without great opponents
Whether we are close or not, congratulations to everyone who contributed to this season and good luck to the final 4 of the Nova Series
