This walkthrough discussion has enlightened me that FNAF may have broken gaming culture cuz everyone just in it for the lore devoid of how the game interfaces with it now which kinda sucks given that fnaf has a really stellar gameplay loop

The “you can be a fan of a game without playing it” argument reminds me that people don’t see games as art. It’s a medium built around personal engagement, that's what gameplay is, it’s what makes games what they are. Is it really that hard to acknowledge and respect that?

Your experience of a game is through the eyes of someone else and your opinions end up getting formed by their perspective rather than your own. You're essentially reading a book through cliffnotes and can end up missing story beats or gameplay elements than if you play yourself
