I'm bothered by many of the responses to this tweet and similar tweets.
FACTS:
✅ Fast guys are good on the track.
✅ Big and strong guys are good in the weight room.
However, tons of people want to dismiss speed as genetic, natural, and NOT the result of training (no hard work required).
The same people glorify big and strong athletes by pointing out their relentless hard work, toughness, and being coachable.
I have my ideas why, but I'm keeping them to myself.
Most of the players last night ran track in high school, including the guy who scored the final TD.
