Yesterday was certainly an interesting day. Most trains that I tried to get on were delayed or cancelled but I did manage to explore the fabulous @marstonvalecrp line and have a glimpse at what East West Rail will mean for the region! Really wish they got rid of the 150s though

What a sight! Had a fabulous journey on the resurrected Newcastle - London Intercity 225 service. Everyone was absolutely lovely, would recommend.

That moment when you see the 'double arrow' sign has been installed at a new station😍. Lots of work happening to install the hundreds of cycle racks, restoring Hobsons Park and making those finishing touches in readiness for opening. #CambridgeSouth.

Had a lovely trip to Surrey yesterday on the wonderful North Downs Line!

Yesterday I spent the whole day riding around on the @chilternrailway network where I spent a whopping 5 hours and a half with their 68s! Really enjoyed the new mark 5A's and found the comfort and ride quality of the mark 3s to be great too.

If you've not already done so then check out @OnlyRightTrack. His videos are brilliant and he really does promote the railways especially to the younger generation. Great lad who is really passionate about trains, has appeared on ITV and been sponsored for videos by LNER!
