I have not seen anyone saying the mini comics were either adult or dark, only that they were tonally very different from the cartoon; which they are.
Masters of the Universe. Quienes citan a los mini cómics como la versión “adulta” u “oscura” de He-Man se olvidan de que estos tienen un dibujo más serio pero que también tienen humor, villanos cobardes, tramas simples y un He-Man vulnerable e imprudente.

I must be missing the parts where Tony is trying to, "contain" the fight because, if he is, he's doing a really bad job at it.
Since Man of Steel was basically a lame ripoff of Reeve Superman 1 and 2. He should just moved the fight. But always found it intresting that 2 years afterwards. Marvel had an answer to all that wanted destruction. Like "Maybe our hero should try to contain the fight as much as possible.".

This whole thing is about an issue of one party in the relationships needs not being met while being told their, "job" is to prioritize the needs of the other over their own. It's the same issue on both sides and no one is talking about how to resolve the complexity of it because
The making out/dead bedroom discourse is fascinating because once again women are saying “this is what I would like” and men are responding “you’re a fucking liar”

Telling men, "You either learn to live with it or you're a bad person" isn't really a path to finding a solution nor is trying to tell women it's their, "wifely duty" to submit to men whenever they want it. And I REALLY don't think, "then you should leave" should be a suggestion.

NO ONE wants to have this discussion. I've been avoiding it for years and I would think most people do until avoiding it somehow blows up their relationship. I don't know how to best deal with it but I know enough to know that whatever's happening here isn't it.

Yes; welcome to another cinematically exaggerated episode of, "Life Isn't Fair". The situation is a tragic. The movie is a tragedy. Everyone suffers. Sometimes it be like that.
Can we talk about how Sarah is the real tragedy of #Obsession, while everyone else is completely ignoring her? She genuinely liked Bear for who he was, way before any supernatural curses got involved. But instead of paying attention to a girl who actually valued him, Bear ignored her to chase a brainwashed fantasy of Nikki. And Sarah's reward for being a good coworker? Getting her face brutally smashed in with a brick by a possessed Nikki. Sarah was total collateral damage for Bear’s toxic entitlement. If you are more worried about Bear or Nikki than the absolute horror of what happened to Sarah, your priorities are totally backwards #Obsession #bear #sarah #nikki

There HAS to be some kind of behind the scenes, legal crap going on with the character that's keeping it from certain kinds of usages because no matter how I might feel about its popularity in general something seems off about this.
No disrespect to Jessica Cruz or her fans but her getting an animated series BEFORE Wonder Woman is actually absurd. Like, Jessica is deserving, I suppose, but it’s fucking Wonder Woman? And she’s never had one before??

This is another example of why I hate magic as a story telling device because the WW HAS TO HAVE some ability to interpret how to fulfill what people are wishing for on some level. Bear didn't wish for Nikki to be dissociatively displaced in order to love him, but he didn't wish
Curry Barker literally confirmed the Wishing Willow isn't even a little cursed or tricky, Bear's wish was just evil.

that, had Bear known them, might have affected whether or not he made his wish. Even if the rule was you have a 50/50 chance of the wish having a negative effect that would have a HUGE impact on how the story plays out because if Bear knows the rules and STILL makes his wish THEN

he really is everything his critics say he is and THAT matters. I'm not saying the movie is badly written for what I see as a narrative lapse. I'm just pointing out why I still fucking HATE magic as a storytelling device.

Matthew McConaughey explains the difference between a nice guy and a good man "A nice guy gets along. Yeah, I'll do that, sure. They don't necessarily have discernment or judgment, not sure what they stand for or against." "A good man has ideals he stands for and stands against. When they're tested, a good man is not a nice guy." "It doesn't mean you've got to be a dick. It means sometimes you go, this is for me and that is not. And if you trespass on me and my family, I will do my best to cause consequences."

That's not, "clever" - that's a sick manipulation to create the appearance of something with more value than it could EVER have on its own. This is the kind of thing someone like Trump would approve of as a person addicted to the creation of cheap facades and empty value.
The UFC is doing a very clever thing: they have given each fighter an honor guard that includes a medal of honor recipient, which means every service member must salute as the fighter walks past

Because it isn't making money at the rate the budget calls for to break even. Being a bomb has nothing to do with quality, or reviews or how much people might like it; it's ALL about money. And at only $85M for the first 10 days on a $200M budget the money just isn't there.
I just don't get it. Almost everyone who watched Masters of the Universe enjoyed the movie. Many people went to see it several times. Word of mouth is great. So how can this still be considered a bomb?

The color work here was done by Jean-Clement Soret for Company 3, one of the busiest color houses in the business. Has anyone thought to, like, reach out and ASK them about any of this? Because I'm pretty sure they can clear up a lot of the back and forth about the WHY of this.

If there was all of this undeniable evidence for the existence of god you wouldn't need to have faith and there probably wouldn't be so many different religions. People can argue over how to interpret a fact but a fact is still a fact and, right now, god is not a fact.
The evidence for God is obvious.

Like so many things in fandoms the complaints and criticisms were not so much about what it was as they were about what it was not.
I genuinely don't understand how the previous generation watched this in 1999 and 2005 and call it bad....

The fact that every deviation from the baseline that appears in any reinterpretation of the material needs to be covered under the caveat that, "it's a different universe" instead of just being intellectually accepted for what it is exists, IMO, as a HUGE problem at fandoms core.
