One of the more interesting UFO photographs. Is it possible it’s a misidentification or hoax, yeah but unlikely.
The only reason I’d consider that still is the witness didn’t see the object, but either way it’s really clear and has been analyzed.
🚨 ONE OF THE CLEAREST DAYLIGHT UFO SAUCER PHOTOS EVER CAPTURED! 👽📸🛸
October 8, 1981, ~11:00 AM / Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada: Amateur photographer Hannah McRoberts snapped scenic shots of a mountainous landscape near Kelsey Bay with her 35mm Mamiya camera.
Nothing unusual seen in the sky at the time. Weeks later, when the film was developed.. BAM!, a sharp, metallic, domed saucer shaped object appears hovering near a mountain ridge against a clear blue sky.
Key Facts:
⚫ Single frame capture on color film; object unnoticed live (possibly due to speed/distance).
⚫ Analyzed by researcher Richard F. Haines: Micro-densitometry, enhancements, and measurements ruled out hoax (no threads, no obvious fakes). Concluded a 3D object at least 30 feet away, diffuse albedo, solid and unidentified.
⚫ Praised as one of the best civilian daylight UFO photos, featured on The Proof Is Out There and in UFO databases. Skeptics suggest distant plane/hubcap/lens artifact, but analyses support a genuine anomaly.
This classic "missed by the eye, caught by the camera" case bolsters claims of advanced NHI craft operating in Canadian airspace.. silent, metallic discs defying easy explanation.
Ties into broader patterns of high quality photo evidence from the era, hinting at persistent surveillance or interdimensional activity near remote hotspots.
In 2026 disclosure climate (post-Elizondo/Grusch momentum), cases like this scream for re-investigation: Was this NHI tech, reverse engineered black project, or something ancient watching from the mountains?
