It’s alive!! πŸ”₯ I am literally a 30 years old dad learning to assemble pcbs in my basement. The board it’s making is very similar to a benchy in the 3d printing world. It tests calibration of the machine. The pcb has double sided sticky tape on the top so the resistor stays in place. It picks it from the tape, checks alignment of the resistor on the nozzle over the top of the camera ( light part ), and then places it in on the board. This was my first ever run, they are all 90 degrees the wrong rotation, but I have it dialed in now. 🀣 Next step it to design my own starter pcb and see if we can reflow solder. Ps LOOK HOW SMALL THESE COMPONENTS ARE!! Get me some glasses . πŸ€“ @OpuloInc

One (of three) PCBs I ordered from @JLCPCB. Man this color is really nice, I was expecting a brighter yellow but this is a really nice muted yellow that is a bit more orange. Now to get this assembled on my @OpuloInc Lumen v4 once I sort out putting 50 parts in feeders.

Well, I just bought a Pick n Place machine 😳 Was a big investment, but this is the next step for me as a hardware maker. I did not have designing and building custom pcbs' in my basement on my 2024 bingo card. I have almost zero experience building pcbs, but were going to figure it out like we always do. I have a high tolerance for pain πŸ˜… LFG πŸ”₯ @OpuloInc
