WALANT has been used mainly for hand & wrist procedures - this group used it in 58 pts with AO 44Bs & Cs. Mean intraop VAS scores of 1.24 ± 0.43 (range, 0 to 3) Not sure if there's a big enough benefit over GA but do we see this becoming a thing? #orthojc @jbjs
