The Govt told councils to do #WhateverItTakes to fight #covid19 but have not followed through with enough funding. There is an impending financial crisis in our towns & cities. @Keir_Starmer
has called on the Govt to keep their promises over funding councils & communities need.

Operation Oak provides extra police patrols on Friday & Saturday nights in term time in key student areas. It runs daily, 10pm to 3am for the last two weeks of term – & Weds, Fri and Sat in the meantime. Residents can contact 07504 898148- the police prefer contact via a text.

So disappointed that the Whey Aye Wheel got through the council's planning cttee. I put in an objection and Ouseburn Lab Cllr Paula Holland is on the cttee & voted against. The decision on the giant screen was delayed so there is time to resist that. This is not over.
