There will be a lot of trans people unsettled and anxious about this announcement on the code of practice. We are now moving in full reverse on all the progress we've made on equalities.

At the start of this campaign, we asked SNP candidates to sign a pledge to stand against culture war politics. We're thrilled to say that the First Minister and, so far, 58 other candidates (now including @jeremiesnp) have done so. But this must be followed by action after May.
