We are a community network advocating for Permanent, Accessible, Dignified and Safe (PADS) housing for all, 24/7 warming space & a moratorium on park evictions.
HRM & the Province of NS continue to prioritize developers, investors, & landlords over the greater whole. They continue to deny their historic and unwavering role in the lack of public and affordable housing, rapidly growing poverty rates, and ever-increasing wealth inequality.
PADS stands by our commitment to holding governments accountable for their responsibility in this housing crisis. We demand an end to all encampment evictions. We demand the government take action toward Permanent, Accessible, Dignified, and Safer Housing for All.
