After Vote Chori and Sarkar Chori - the BJP-EC jugalbandi has finished the contest before it has even begun with Seat Chori.
Look at what happened in the recent Rajya Sabha elections.
Congress candidate Meenakshi Natarajan ji submitted every document. No pending cases. The EC cancelled her nomination on a frivolous BJP objection.
Parimal Nathwani ji, the BJP-backed independent, got his own name wrong on the form and skipped multiple mandatory disclosures. The EC gave him an extension to fix everything.
Same Election Commission. Two candidates. One was disqualified without even a hearing. The other was rewarded despite not following the rules.
When the Congress sought a meeting, the EC first tried to evade us. When we finally met, they did not say one word.
Expect to see much more of this - because for the BJP, it is far easier to fix the election than to win it.

'पांढरा' या ऐवजी आता 'सफेद' हा शब्द कालपासून पुढे येत आहे. एकेक करून रोजच्या वापरातील मराठी शब्दही जर अशाप्रकारे मागे पडत असतील तर अवघड आहे! समाजामध्ये असे हिंदी शब्द रुजवण्यात मराठी चित्रपट सृष्टीतील कलाकार आणि मुंबईतील पत्रकार अधिक जबाबदार आहेत.

हे परप्रांतीय म्हणजे महाराष्ट्राला लागलेली कीड आहे. यांना वेळीच आळा घालून हाकलून दिलं गेलं नाही तर हे नोकऱ्यांसारखं मराठी माणसाच्या व्यवसायावर देखील कब्जा करून त्यांच्या पोटावर पण पाय देणार.

बियर ही पिण्याची नाही, तर अनुभवायची गोष्ट आहे. बियरच्या पहिल्या घोटासोबतच माणसाचा ताण तणाव कमी व्हायला सुरुवात होते. देशात शांतता राखायची असेल तर प्रत्येकाने बियर प्यायलाच पाहिजे, असा कायदा केला पाहिजे.

It's really sad to see a large majority feeling so threatened by a tiny minority community like Jains. A community that makes up less than 1% of India's population is being accused of "colonising" an entire state.
Disagree with their practices if you want, but portraying a small religious minority as some kind of threat only creates unnecessary division. Maharashtra has always been home to people of different communities, languages, and traditions. Diversity means respecting differences, not blaming an entire community for the actions or choices of a few individuals.
If I own a property, it is my choice whom I rent or sell it to. People make decisions based on many factors such as lifestyle, dietary preferences, smoking, drinking, pets, culture, or personal comfort. Exercising that choice does not amount to "colonising" a state.
What's really surprising is seeing a tiny minority community being portrayed as a threat simply because some people choose to live according to their beliefs and preferences.
