It is essential that children and young people receive full, followed up, fast and child friendly feedback after they have shared their views so they know what influence they have had, what changes were made, and if something wasn’t possible the reasons why.
In 2024, Hub na nÓg held consultations with primary school children (aged 8-12 years) on two areas of the primary school curriculum, Wellbeing and Social and Environmental Education, in partnership with theNational Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NCCA). As part of the consultation process the NCCA produced a child-friendly report and feedback document for each curriculum area.
